Hi,
My friend gave me his son's old MSI model MS-1681 laptop. It has a core i5 32 bit processor with 4GB RAM and Windows 7. It does not have a battery. The screen is damaged, along with the hinges, so it does not open and close properly. He got physical with it somehow.
I have connected an external monitor to it and it seems to run with no problems. I am not looking to repair it, but I was wondering what I could use it for. Could it somehow be used as part of a NAS or something else?
